The Age old Dilemma
Apple versus Windows.
This is the battle that must be waged for what will be my next laptop computing machine. There are many arguments for each:
Apple: Fancy OS, Less viruses, Beautiful screens and graphics
PC: Better programs, Practical for business school (down the line), Already know how to kick ass on one
With this new Confider virus popping up on April 1 (look it up), it's just another example of how PC's will always be the first target. And also reinforces my half-baked desire to develop the most crippling Apple virus EVER to take down those pretentious effers.
I say that, but there are 6 Macs and 2 PC's in the house and they are pretty fancy. But in the end, I think I will go the way of Evil and stay with the PC... mostly because a comparable laptop is about $800 cheaper if it doesn't have that that stupid half-eaten apple on the cover.
But then again...

How many viruses have you actually ever gotten on your PC?
The computers at my parents' house (which are used by my ar-tard family) are the only computers I have ever used that got a virus. And even then, this was once or twice, many years ago.
Bottom line: unless you are a sucker for the latest and greatest emoticons, I don't think viruses are much of worry.

i agree that price is the deciding factor on which computer to get. if two laptops are going to help you do basically the same thing, and both last for like 5 years, why not save $800?
