I am a Word
And that word is... Desenrascanco.
It's Portuguese and means to "to disentangle yourself out of a bad situation."
To extrapolate a more common definition, it means to come up with a last minute solution using limited inventory and no advanced plan. Or MacGyver it.
If you read Cracked, then you'll know I am stealing from them (article found here). Regardless, I think it's fantastic that some culture found the value of slapdash solutions, gave it a word and even teach it as a skill worth having.
